For those of you that it might interest, the sharp looking Sailor on the right hand side with the red stripes is
Lance Timmer. The Fellow on the left is a friend, Whitey, a Torpedoman .
I was stationed at The Holy Loch Polaris Submarine Base in Scotland from 1963-1966
and Ireland was closer (35 miles via the Irish Sea) than the
distance between Muskegon, Michigan to Milwaukee, Wisconsin (75 miles Lake Michigan) .
